The 1994 Coca-Cola Monsters of the Gridiron set turns NFL players into larger-than-life monster characters, pairing football stars with distinctive illustrated alter egos and names.
The numbered set contains 30 cards, including players from across the NFL as well as dedicated Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars cards. Beyond the numbered checklist, the collection also includes additional pieces tied to the original promotion, including a checklist card and Scratch ’n Win material.
For this GemSource pursuit, the goal is to preserve more than just the numbered card set. Promotional pieces, packaging, scratch-off material, and other items connected to the original release can be tracked alongside the cards to tell the fuller story of the collection.

Legacy Behind the Gridiron
Monsters of the Gridiron is the kind of collection GemSource was built for. It isn't simply a checklist of football cards. The artwork, character names, promotional pieces, and unusual way the cards were distributed give the set its own personality and history.
The goal of this pursuit is to bring all of those pieces back together, document what belongs to the release, and eventually display the collection as a complete piece rather than leaving the cards stored away individually.
